Junior Video Designer / Animator
Remote with occasional London and on-site event location based work
We’re looking for a full-time Junior Video Designer / Animator to join Two Suns Creative.
We are a creative design agency specialising in music. Our clients include Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony Music, BMG. We have delivered work for artists such as Ed Sheeran, Louis Tomlinson, The Weeknd, Jessie Ware, Becky Hill, Mae Muller, Niall Horan, Jorja Smith, CHVRCHES, The Chainsmokers, Doja Cat, and many more.
We’ve also produced live visual content for artists including Louis Tomlinson, Sugababes, Myles Smith, The Kooks, The Snuts and PinkPantheress, as well as events such as the MOBO Awards, Music Week Awards, and Red Bull at Notting Hill Carnival.
You’ll be working across our core areas of work:
- Live visual content for music artists and arena sized concert tours
- Campaign visuals for major releases
- Social media content and motion assets
- Lyric videos and other adjacent video based content
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be designing, editing, animating and delivering real assets that go out into the world, often on big stages and on the social media, channels of high-profile artists etc.
You’ll work closely with our small team, learning fast and taking on more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
What we’re looking for
This role is right for you if:
- You’re early in your career but serious about design and video – would suit a recent graduate of a graphic / video related course, but a degree is not essential
- You have a solid grasp of design fundamentals and timing / rhythm in relation to music projects
- You’re comfortable working in After Effects and at least one of Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
- You understand different formats like 16:9, 9:16, 1:1
- You can take feedback, iterate quickly and not take it personally
- You’re organised and a good written and verbal communicator
- A keen interest in understanding of music, live events or touring visuals
- You can work quickly, react and adapt as projects flex and develop
What you’ll actually be doing
- Designing and animating video content from supplied client briefs and references
- Adapting assets across multiple formats and platforms – from LED video screens to online
- Supporting live visuals projects
- Managing your own tasks and timelines with support from the team
Salary
Negotiable and dependent on experience
Performance and profit bonus structure
Alongside your base salary, this role includes a profit bonus designed to reward contribution.
How it works:
- At the end of each year, Two Suns calculates net project profit across the agency
- A fixed percentage of profit is allocated to the staff bonus pool paid to you
- As you grow into a mid-level role, your profit share percentage increases
If we perform well as a company, you share in the upside.
